Round—·—miners

Decrypt the chain
from your terminal.

XYPHER is a coin you mine with any CPU. No GPU, no rig. One round a minute, and every miner gets the same cut.

Why miners choose
XYPHER

Proof-of-work for people: any CPU, an equal split, and a gate that keeps scripts out.

Any CPU, one command

A laptop is enough. The CLI hashes SHA-256 shares on your processor: no GPU, no rig, nothing to configure.

The same cut for every miner

Every round's emission is split equally between every wallet that found a share. Extra machines don't print more.

Guarded by the Cipher Gate

At a random moment every 1–3 hours the miner pauses and draws a code. A person types it back. Scripts with nobody watching stop earning.

How It Works

From a wallet
to your first round

01

Sign in with a wallet

On this site. A free message signature: no transaction, no gas. You get an API key for the CLI.

02

Install, login, mine

npm i -g xypher-miner, xypher login <key>, xypher mine. Node.js 18+ on Windows, macOS or Linux.

03

Get paid every round

Every 60 seconds the round closes and your cut lands in your balance. Answer the Cipher Gate when it asks.

FAQ

Before you
start mining

Still unsure? Read the CLI source on npm (xypher-miner): it is plain JavaScript.

Is the miner safe to run?
Yes. The CLI only computes SHA-256 hashes and talks to the XYPHER server with your API key. It never asks for a private key or seed phrase and cannot move funds.
Does signing in cost gas?
No. Signing in is a plain message signature that proves you own the wallet. No transaction is sent and nothing is spent.
Does a faster computer earn more?
Not per round. Difficulty adjusts to each miner so everyone finds about one share every 20 seconds, and one share is enough for a full cut. The only way to get more than one part is a decoder.
What is the Cipher Gate?
A human check. At a random moment every 1 to 3 hours, mining pauses and the CLI draws a 4-digit code in noisy ASCII art. Type it back in the terminal (or on this page) and mining continues. Three wrong answers draw a new code.
Can bots or big farms take everything?
Each round is split equally, so a hundred machines on one wallet still get one part. Each network can use at most 3 wallets, each wallet needs real activity on Robinhood Chain, and the Cipher Gate stops miners nobody is watching.
When can I withdraw my XYPHER?
Balances are kept in the XYPHER ledger while mining runs. Withdrawals to your wallet open when the XYPHER token is live on Robinhood Chain; this site will show it first.
My CPU is busy. Can I limit it?
Yes. Run xypher mine --threads 2 (or any number) to leave the rest of your cores free. Stop any time with Ctrl+C.
